Description
Based on incidents in the life of Sequoyah, creator of the Cherokee's written language. This is the story of a 15-year-old Missouri boy, who is the sole survivor of a Comanche raid on a wagon train, and an old Cherokee Indian Sequoyah who face a long and difficult journey across the plains together, first as enemies, then as comrades in peril.
